Walk of PainThe wind attempted to caress my hair, but my foul mood argued its touch. A friend tossed a smile my way as we passed. A scowl embodied my face, deflecting their smile with the effectiveness of a gorgon gazing at its prey. How could they be so happy? For so long she and I were together, why did it have to end now?
